During the Eighties you would be hard pressed to find a more winning golfer.  He played and won numerous PGA and Ryder events.  He was the first golfer to reach 6, 7, 8, and 9 million dollar career earnings.

He is best known for his terrific short game, and first to introduce a third wedge into his bag.    In the 2012 Senior open, he shot 29 for the front nine, the lowest score for nine in any USGA championship.  He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2004.
