Case 5

Bobby Hull

The Greatest Blackhawk of All Time

Bobby Hull   (1939 -
nickname: The golden jet

Hull is thought to be one of the greatest hockey players to ever play the game.  He had lightening speed and was able to shoot the puck with incredible velocity.  Usually the opposition needed two players to shadow him.

He was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983 and though his career was studded with annual all-star appearances, he was only on the Stanely Cup one time in his career on the Blackhawk team in 1961.  His number "9" jersey is retired and he currently serves as an ambassador for the Blackhawk organization.
