Jack played his college career at Duke University from 1963- 1966. The Baltimore Bullets selected him in the first round of the 1966 NBA draft 5th overall. He played 11 seasons in the NBA scoring 12, 541 points in his career with four different teams.
After he retired from basketball Jack went back to Duke University to get his juris doctor in law. In addition to an active law practice, Jack is involved with the United States Marine Corps and Hope For the Warriors, teaching golf and other sports to wounded soldiers. He is in the North Carolina, Duke Sports and Pennsylvania Hall of Fames.
