Bobby Wanzer was an NBA super star and coach who played his college ball at Seton Hall University in the mid 1940s. In 1947 the Rochester Royals drafted him and there he stayed during his ten-year career with the Royals. He was a five time NBA All-Star and an NBA Champion. Bobby was the first player in NBA history to shoot over 90% from the free throw line in a season.
He coached the Cincinnati Royals for four seasons and later coached at St. John Fisher College. In 1987 he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and in 2007 was inducted into the United States Marine Corps Hall of Fame.
