Bill Walton

NBA Star who started as a powerhouse of UCLA Bruins

Bill Walton (1952 -   )

 

Walton achieved superstardom starting in the early '70s, winning three successive College Player of the Year Awards, and leading UCLA to two Division I national titles. He went on to a stellar NBA career where he was a league Most Valuable Player and won two NBA championships. Walton was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993.  After playing, he enjoyed being a basketball player and television sportscaster for many years.
